TWENTY'ELEVEN TAIWAN - SINGAPORE TO HONG KONG

Bon Voyage! To the many first of my life. As a child, I have taken a few flights but they were hardly visible memories. The most recent flight that I could remember was a short flight to Kuala Lumpur from Singapore when I was about ten. I can simply count the number of flights I had taken in one hand easily. About ten years from then, I'm flying again!! First time flying without my Mom around and feeling as excited as a first-time flyer.. Hee..

This is my second school tour but the first school tour to fly. The number of countries that I have visited was too easy to count in one hand, Malaysia (the most often as that was where my Dad was from), Indonesia (my Grandma was an Indonesian before she was married, so we used to visit my Grandaunts when I was little..) and I could not remember the rest (or maybe there wasn't anywhere else on the list..). Anyway, cheers to my first time travelling further than the usual places and this will be my first visit to Taiwan and my first time setting foot in Hong Kong for transition!

We checked in at 8am and landed ourselves with more than enough time for breakfast!

That's the clique of people I'm with..

and my lovely roommate! We are flying with Cathay to Hong Kong for a transit to Taiwan!

Great friend BoBo to enjoy the flight with me to Hong Kong. My choice of food on flight to be Western Chicken with Mashed Potato and BoBo's choice was Chinese Fish Fillet with Rice.

I'm pretty curious with everything on flight! Especially the temperature outside. I wonder if it freeze outside. Growing up in a all year summer country does makes me feel interested in low temperature. Haha!

Finally! Here we are in Hong Kong International Airport waiting for transition after a four hour flight from Singapore! Worst practice of me leaving for a trip with a camera battery that was left with three bar of power. Now it's left with two.. I do hope my camera can last me till the end of the day.

P.S.: The powerpoint in the Airport were are faulty. Maybe they should do something about it?

PHOTOGRAPHY PORTFOLIO

Recently, I did a portfolio for my internship job application at a photography studio. I read this a few months ago which triggered me to do a portfolio that was different from my past doings..

"I am always shocked when I meet illustrators to review their portfolio by how easy it is to tell the student from seasoned professional (hint: the student has an over sized portfolio with original art and no websites; the pro has a small custom-made book with clean printouts and a functional site)." - How to be an Illustrator
